Support

Our work is made possible by our grassroots efforts and networks, event organizers that value and hire us for our expert level care, and the donors in our communities. That is Community-Sponsored-Medicine! If you would like to support MASHH in our mission of making holistic & integrative healthcare more accessible please review MASHH’s 2018 Wish List here. You can contact us for details at mashhclinic@gmail.com.  Thank you!

  • Website & graphic design. Preferably Squarespace so that we can update it ourselves. We have a whole lot of new info ready to post. We are also going to launch a ‘Manual for Running off-grid Herbal Clinics at Events & On The Front Lines’ (!) so we need a new website.
  • Large tent. Popup tents.
  • 5X12 cargo trailer, food truck style with solar electric installed would be ideal, but any safe working trailer that can be locked for under $2K would be considered. Ideally can be towed shorter distances by an SUV, a Toyota Tundra is our current largest vehicle with a towing capacity of 10K.
  • Radios. We need at least 6 more radios, small, water resistant and lightweight family band is preferable, some can be battery rechargeable but we need at least 2 that can use AA batteries for more remote work.
  • Solar charging station. big enough to keep our cell phones and a computer charged up and occasional battery charges for LED lantern, electric cooler.
  • YETI or similar well-insulated coolers, electric powered one would be super useful.
  • We gladly accept donated first aid and herbal supplies to distribute to community clinics or for pop-up clinics at various events and actions. (see our full herbal medicine and medic supply wish list below).
  • Mercedes 309D mechanic. We shelter the Biotic Baking Brigade’s Deutsch riot police transporter bus and would like to get it running again to be used as aclinic and support for our mobile pop-up clinics. It has been sitting in the woods for 10+ years, is now parked on dry level ground in Arcata and needs the fuel drained and new filters installed, and a critical part of the air braking system installed. Window gaskets need replaced and the interior needs remodeling.
  • Cots
  • Large waterproof and windproof canvas tents: We need a main tent, a bleeder tent, a massage tent and a big tent for our back hearth/tea kitchen, and pop-up shade shelters or other structures to shelter our clinics.
  • An automated external defibrillator (AED). The addition of this tool would help make us more hireable at large outdoor events where we might possible be able to make a living wage.
  • Large stainless soup or bean pots for making tea
  • Bulk dried herbs, bulk tinctures, Essential Oils, syrups, glycerites, etc.
  • Medicine making supplies; EtOH, honey, olive oil, mason jars, amber droppers
  • Medical supplies: Adjustable arm slings, knee ankle wrist and elbow braces, neck collars, backboard, crutches, all sizes non-latex gloves, fabric bandaids, micropore tape, other medical supplies.
  • Cots, warm sleeping bags, old thinsulate pads, cookie trays for sterile fields
  • Logistical support: Help transport our gear to events, help build our clinic before an event, haul wagons with ice, admin and computer support, basic bookkeeping support.
  • Security support: At our larger events it is critical we have good security detail to keep our medicines safe from theft as well as safeguard the personal space of our clinicians.
  • 5 gallon drink dispensers
  • Medic kits/bags.
  • Money. We appreciate financial donations.
  • Let us not forget the herbal medicines:  IMG_3200.jpg
